The one thing I liked about having a Bank of America check card (I banked there for 10 years) was the fact that they have Direct Deduction. When you use your visa check card as a VISA, funds are taken out of your account immediately. With most other banks, funds take a couple of days.
The reason why the Citi AA card was so popular was because a lot of people got approved for the card with questionable credit reports. I'm sure someone else will elaborate. Just do a search on this board under Citibank AAdvantage Card.
Sam you have to be kidding me. You applied for all those cards. Really! They only take 2 applications at a time my friend. The other applications were voided and you were sent a letter if what you are saying is true. ANYWAY....So which card did you get approved for?
It's not surprising that people are confused about the Aadvantage card. As far as I can tell, it seems there are four different varieties:
Aadvantage World Gold
Aadvantage World Platinum
oh, and the business version of one or more of these.
The World card comes with no pre-set spending limit. It has a credit limit but you can over it as long as you pay the excess above the limit on the next statement. I don't think the world card is the one people have been talking about on this board. Hope this helps.
They have many advantage cards. That is why I didnot like Sam mentioning all the cards to a newbie. The card we all got was the Advantage card or gold advantage. Not World advantage. But you must click the AA World icon on the site to access the full list of cards which are easy to get. I am tired of telling people about this card. From now on I am just gonna say read the threads. Hate to be mean.
