Last minute checking of reports before applying for mortgages... DH has an old charge off from 5/97 with 360 Communications. Today when I pulled his experian, he had the original charge off still there and now there is a new tradeline labelled Alltel chargeoff 6/2003 for the exact same amount and an acount number that is almost the same. 360 later became part of Alltel I believe? Should this just be disputed as a duplicate entry? Or is there more to it since it also appears to be re-aged? TIA

Re: Re: Grrrrr..... Ok well ... you can do pretty much anything you want. The SOL appears to have expired. If it were me, I'd call them and let them know what has happened, and make them delete. Tell them you're about to go for a mortgage and it better damn well not be on there when your lender does the last pull, or you'll have major damages.
