Can someone give me some advice please?
Pressler & Pressler filed for a judgment against me which I never knew about.....it was granted because I didn't fight it. Now they are going after my wages. What do I do? Can I still file for motion to vacate and how do I object to the garnishment. I am at a total loss here. I have know idea what to do. I don't know how I will go against these guys in court myself... they are the real antichrist!

Thanks for any advice you can give me.

Consider this a bump, I don't know anything about judgments. But for someone to steer you in the right direction, they will probably need to know what state you are in, how much $$, and what was it for?

The last question, especially if it is a repo.

I live in NJ, they are trying to collect 1400 for a 200 dollar debt from a cc (providian). I was not even the one who signed for the stupid cc.

I also live in NJ and two years ago Pressler and Pressler filed a judgement against me for $2000. It was for a Citibank charge off of $600. I never knew the judgement was filed against me because I was never served so I never showed up. I pulled my credit report one day and there it was. My mom works for a laywer and he sent a letter to them offering to pay the original default amount of $600 if they would vacate the judgement, which they did. Maybe if you contact them they will accept payment arrangements on the original amount so your wages don't have to be garnished. I hope this helps.
