Help with my credit reports...

Okay here's my story. From age 18-24 (or thereabouts) I was bound and determined to screw up my credit, and did quite well I might add. Now I have a well paying job and pay all of my bills on time, but have a horrible set of credit reports in front of me.

I have since disputed most negative items to the CRA's. Right now only TU has responded with their updated credit report, but the other 2 are due in 5 days. TU also brings up another problem. I'll address that later.

Here's what my credit reports look like (bad)
    TU

NCO FIN SYS COLLECTIONS ACCT. (MEDICAL BILL)
NCO FIN SYS COLLECTIONS ACCT. (MEDICAL BILL)
CR SYST INTR COLLECTIONS ACCOUNT (MEDICAL BILL)
CR SYST INTR COLLECTIONS ACCOUNT (MEDICAL BILL)
CENTRAL FINCL COLLECTIONS ACCOUNT (MEDICAL BILL)
RISK MANAGMENT A COLLECTIONS ACCOUNT (PHONE)
ALLIED INT COLLECTION ACCOUNT (CELLULAR PHONE)

All accounts in collections total less than $2500. Risk Managment Alternatives has an account placed with TU for collections, yet BOTH Equifax and Experian, have already deleted it due to a past dispute on my part. Why does TU report it? If 2 other CRA's can't verify it, how can they? Bear in mind they came in almost 10 days ahead with their results.

    Experian

ALLIED INT COLLECTION ACCOUNT (CELLULAR PHONE)
BLAKLEY WITT AND ASSC COLLECTION ACCOUNT (APARTMENT)
CAC FINANCIAL CORP COLLECTION ACCOUNT (PHONE)
CENTRAL FINCL COLLECTIONS ACCOUNT (MEDICAL BILL)

    Equifax

ALLIED INT COLLECTION ACCOUNT (CELLULAR PHONE)
ALLSTATE CELLULAR COLLECTION ACCOUNT (CELL PHONE)
COLLECTION COMPANY 0 (OR MAYBE CREDIT ADJUSTMENT) COLLECTION ACCOUNT (I HAVE NO
    IDEA WHO/WHAT THESE PEOPLE WANT)
CREDIT MANAGMENT COLLECTION ACCOUNT (NO IDEA HERE EITHER)
MERCHANTS AND PROFES COLLECTION ACCOUNT (NO CLUE)
NCO FIN SYS COLLECTIONS ACCT. (MEDICAL BILL)
NCO FIN SYS COLLECTIONS ACCT. (MEDICAL BILL)
RELIANT ENERGY COLLECTIONS ACCOUNT (UTILITY BILL)
SUPERIOR ASSET MANAGMENT COLLECTION ACOUNT (NO CLUE)

Okay with Equifax (or CSC here) and Experian some of those items may/may not be deleted as their results are not back yet. Like I said earlier my credit is POOR and I'm looking to get it cleaned up as soon as possible. I would like to get as many of these items off of my report as soon as possible. The ones I can't I would probably settle, I just want the best credit score in the least amount of time (just like everyone else I suppose =) ). Any tips, hints suggestions?

I am pretty well versed in the BASICS of credit repair. I have disputed everyone of those accounts with both the CRA and the collections agency/original creditor. As of yet only Blakley Witt and CSI have even attempted to give me any kind of response.

Also there were some unauthorized credit inquiries on my credit report, while Experian and Equifax here suprisingly helpful, Transunion basically sent me bacck a screw you letter ststing that I should get in touch with the agencies that made the inquiries. Desn't the burden of proof lie with them? Not me? Transunion is run by a bunch of ______s <--insert explcit word here!!!

Once again all feedback is welcomed and appreciated. Whew! Long post.

There is no "quick fix". I think you are going about it the best way. When you get your dispute results, you will know better where you stand. At that point, if any accts have been verified, I would then send them a validation letter. Make them prove it if they verified it. When you get the results, post again with the update and we can advise you further. I also suggest, if you haven't already, go to the ftc site and read the fdcpa and the fcra so you will have a better idea of your rights.

Validation letter has already been sent out to TU. Something tells me that they aren't going to do anything different this time around though.

    UPDATE
I received my experian results yesterday (well they were in the mailbox and I found them this morning).

Only Blakley Witt and Central Financial remain. The thing is Blakley Witt is for an old apartment that I rented. To make a long story short, due to the complex changing a lot of inept staff out right before I left, my written 30 day notice was lost. A year later I find out because they don't have the 30 day notice they tell me they are entitled to something like 85% of one months rent. Why am I responsible for their mistakes? Blakley witt has provided me with a signed copy of my lease agreement from when I lived there.

Anyone have any suggestions? Has anything I said given me any leverage for anything? Especially with Blakley Witt. Those people are a$$#@les. Sorry... but they are.

On correction to the lingo. You send validations to ca's. You send disputes or request to verify to the cra's.

I would now send out validation letters to the ca's that verified on experian. Make them prove what they are reporting. The validation letters can be found in the letter section here.

Okay I got my credit report back from CSC (affiliate of Equifax). In the cover letter it explains their verification procedures and says enclosed is a copy of my credit report as the investigation is complete.

EXCEPT... that all of the accounts are still on the report... and say customer disputes - reinvestigation in progress.

Does anyone have any experience with CSC's odd report? What does this mean? I mean the letter said one thing but the credit report says it's still pending.

    I don't get it.
