    Hi guys,

Over the past few moths I have been trying to validate a debt from a Collection agency. They sent me an intial usual collection notice to which I immediately sent out your standard validation letter. I waited more then 30 days and no response from them. I re-sent out another validation letter but this time in a little harsher words hoping for a response. Again I waited another 35 days or so for the second letter and again...No response at all. BTW all were sent CRRR and they signed for and received every one of my letters. During this time I began to dispute this with the credit bureaus to which I received notification from two of them in the mail today that the account was "Verified" with the CA and will remain on my credit reports. No listing of dispute from the CA or anything noting I was in dispute with them "CA" for the last 70 days. As I said to date I've received nothing from them other then their intial collection letter, they are ignoring me. It is my understanding that verifying this with the CRA's is considered continued collection activity?? Where in the FDCPA does this state this? What other violations of either the FDCPA or FCRA do I have them on?? Could anyone here provide with with detailed statues of their violations because I am about to fax their legal department a pending legal action letter. I have a general idea of how I'm going to write this and their violation but I want to cover all of my bases before I send it off to them. Can anyone offer me any help on this?

    Thanks!

If you don't mind my asking, who's the CA? People here seem to know what works with some CAs/CRAs and not with others.

National Collection Solutions out of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. I will pretty much fax them my letter of intent to sue and demand a deletion within 72hrs in writing or the suit will be filed. I just wanted to get help in getting the actual legal statutes down pat and written to them to set the basis for my lawsuit.

    Thanks,
