Hi everyone, I need some help and can offer some to some of you.
First, does anyone know who I can contact at TU and Equifax to help get an old JCPenney chargeoff removed? I have a letter to authorize removal, I just need to get it to the right person.

I know Don Richmon was the old TU contact - Does anyone know the new one and a contact number - email? Also, is there ANYONE at Equifax?

Here are some contacts I have come across that may help some of you:

    HELP AT EXPERIAN - CONTACT
I spoke with Kim Hughes at Experian and she got it removed within 2 days (If you're very polite and have the appropriate documentation, she is VERY helpful; her number is 972-390-4026).

HELP AT JC PENNEY - CONTACT
Also, if you have any problems with JC Penney, I recommend contacting Jannette Sheppard 972-334-1057. A little history: JC Penney were like a thorn in my side - a paid chargeoff for over 5 years. I tried everything...multiple disputes, goodwill, nutcase series, intent to sue, planet feedback, etc. to no avail! Finally found a contact (via this board - thank you!) in Ms. Sheppard and called. I explained the situation and thanked her profusely for any help she could offer. She reviewed my account, called me back and stated that she drafted a letter for removal of the chargeoff and faxed me a copy within 30 minutes. WOW! I felt like sending her flowers! Again, a great contact - just be friendly and very polite.

Thanks everyone - this board is amazing. I've learned so much - just a great resource.
