I have credit scores in the mid 600s just wondering if I would get a home depot card or don't bother trying. I still have negatives on my credit report

I'd love to get one too! I thought I'd bump this for you!

I got one about 6 months ago. They were opening a Home Depot in our town and they sent me an "invitation" to open an account. My equifax score was around 660 then. I got a limit of $750, but a week ago I did an automated credit increase. You can call in and key in how much you want it upped. I asked for $500 and got it. Hope this helps!

I got a preapproval about a year ago when my scores were mid 500 and got a $200 CL. I have used it over time and been automatically raised to about $1k now. I am buying a house next year and just use it for batteries, cleaning supplies, etc. to build up a payment history to raise my CL for when I will need it.
