My Equifax FICO went from 532 to 599 in only a few days. But not much has changed on my credit report. Except I noticed that some of my credit cards have reported for Jan. 2003. Does your score automatically go up when creditors report each month?

Well, every month that you stay positive on your accounts your score might increase because
a) you are creating positive payment history
b) your balance ratio may have gone down
c) your average age of accounts is increasing

I had a similar jump in December. Someone pointed out to me that once a credit card account is open for two years, you get a nice boost. Could that be what happened?
My two years won't come until March. I sure wish I knew why it jumped so I can do some more!
