I have an address that I lived for a year that I want removed from my credit report. I have been on here and see people saying they got addresses removed. My question is how do I go about having it removed. What do I write and say?

Very simple...I simply made a photo copy of the CR's address section and attached a simple cover page stating, "There are incorrect addresses listed in my credit report. Please delete or correct them.

    Listed Address----Requested Action

1234 Elm St----I never lived there. Delete.
    5678 Lulu Ave----Change wrong address # to 123

I've successfully removed "wrong" addresses with EXP and TU. Haven't tried EFX yet.

A CRA may TRY to make you PROVE you never lived at an address...
