How can i get rid of inquires? I just bought a motorcycle and refinanced my car. I put 6 on in a one month period. I lost 30 points.

Have them coded as auto loan inquiries, and most or all can be combined into one effective inquiry. You are allowed 2?? (or more) weeks to shop around for an auto, and up to a month to shop for a home loan where the inquiries are not counted as separate loan inquiries.

Just how do you do that? Call up the credit reporting agency and tell them?

I would also like to know how to get rid of those pesky Auto Loan Inquiries. My husband just bought a motorcycle too, and it has piled on a ton of inquiries.

The CRAs have not been very helpful lately concerning inquiries. The best way is to write each loan company, bank, etc and ask that they remove the inquiry.

I recently had a few inquiries removed from my reports, but only at the request of each individual creditor. The CRAs did not remove any on thier own accord.

    Good luck.

What did you put in the letters to the loan company, bank, etc? I'm interested in any way to get these inquiries off my report.

    What about CA's hard inquiries?
