I currently have 2 citi cards. One is a year old, the other is 6 months... Instead of asking for a CLI, I was thinking it would be better to apply for a new card, combine with the one I had for a year....
I had one and it was recently 6 mos old. Asked for a cl increase. They gave me one auto at 3 mos. Said I had too much available credit and it would be a hard inquiry. I applied to Att univ and got 3300 and citi ps and got 3100. Many of my other cl are 10-15000 so I just combined citi dividend and citi ps for 9400 cl. Then I will keep the att at 3300 and just hope to work on getting limit increased with time. They won't combine att and citi cards.
Well that's good to know... I'm going to get a hard either way! CLI or apply for a new card???? My limits are 5600 on my year old and 4500 on my 6 month... I'm wondering if I'm going to get a hard anyway... maybe I should try my luck on a new card, then combine... instead of a mer $1000-$2000 CLI?????
Hey George... how are you... That's what I'm going to try for the AA... I thought the BDD was dead?? and if not I would have to combine my two cards to one first... then BDD.... maybe thats the best bet for me....
AASILVER is gone... I traded for PLATINUM SELECT You can use AAGOLD and AAGOLD WORLD or AA PLATINUM I guess...(BDD) to PLATINUM SELECT or what-ever you now have... I had WAY BETTER LUCK applying and combining than asking for a CLI...
CLI without BTs... Citi is kinda hard on that.... but I think that's what I'm going to do... combine the two I have now... apply for a new one (BDD) then combine them all.... smile
