I have paid off all of my balances, but they aren't reflecting it in my reports. The dates are still from March. How often do they update changes?
It is not the CRAs that update the information, it is the OCs/data furnishers. Most creditors do it monthly for active accounts, some do it quarterly. It all depends upon the account type and schedule that the creditor works on. It can take up to 90 days in some cases.
Many creditors update electronically. EXP and EQ, in my experience, show the updates more rapidly than TU, but like the above posters have said it is the furnishers who update the information, not the CRA's.
