The derogatories are from AT&T for an improperly closed account on thier side and from DirecTV for charging a service that I did not have.
Given the way that they closed the account I did not find out about this until applying for the loan. As for the DirecTV, I had paid the fee in time before it went to collections.
I have been trying to get a letter from each one to tell of the error, but I have had no luck.
Are there any services that could quickly raise my score? Or are there any actions that I could take such as paying down credit cards?
