I know the trick for equifax but I was wondering if anyone knew how to get them removed from TU or EXP.

The trick with EQ is just dispute as not mine.

Thanks for the Equifax trick. TransUnion does not delete inquiries.

I don't know how Transunion gets away with not investigation inquiries. I think everyone needs to write the FTC and insist that Transunion and Experian investigate inquiries the same way Equifax does. That is a strong indicator of our credit score and they just say they don't do that!

Are they inquiries without permissible purpose?

The only time TU or EXP investigate inquiries is if you have a police report. In FCRA it doesnt state they have to dispute inquiries therefore the credit bureaus take advantage of this. It only states they have to if done fraudulently.

hi everone, there is one way but its a long process, get a letter from EACH company that pulled your credit, with there company (letter head) and send them to t.u. experion, stating i want this inquirie removed, it take 2-4months from start to finish, when all said and done, also dont run your credit during this time good luck!

I sent a fax dispute letter to Experian and the inquiry was removed the next day.

I sent letters to Experian and Equifax about 2 weeks ago.

I had multiple inquiries from the same places. I told them they were duplicates (although they were several months apart) and asked them to roll them all into one (example - 3 Gap inquiries become 1).

Equifax deleted all the inquiries I listed.

    Experian deleted 2 inquiries.

I'm going to go another round with Experian and see what happens.

I also sent a round of letters to creditors a couple days ago (day before Equifax deleted) and asked them to remove. Ill let you know how I make out,
