Received a dunning letter from Nationwide Credit in August. (This was also a subsequent CA - previous couldn't/didn't validate).
Sent out validation letter WELL within 30 days. It is on DH's Experian report as of today - they have not validated.
In 1998 the reached a consent agreement with the FTC for 1million civil penalty for just this sort of thing. A few months ago, they dunned me for Amex, but went away, because at that time they were not bonded in TX (guess who pointed that issue out to them?).
The 100K settlement from 1992 didn't do the trick with these guys.
I think I will have some fun with this one. No negotiating.
