    Hey guys,

    Can I get some advice.

RMA sent me a bill for an old AT&T lond distance. I am disputing the bill. I called AT&T and they can't get me an intemized bill because it is too far back, over 18months.

I can't pay for something and you can't even provide me a itemized invoice for it.

AT&T wants to provide me just a dollar amount but no details to the bill and I doubt RMA has anything more, if that. I am getting ready to fax RMA a validation letter though and see what happens.

    Any advice?

send validation, then estoppel. if they validate, then the worse that can happen is you'll have to pay it.

What is the fax for RMA? I'm disputing a bill with Sprint.

When I sent validation RMA came back with an offer to settle for 70%. I'm gonna send them estoppel.

================this a no no send estoppel giving them 15 days to drop it and get it off your report.

If they don't sue em! *************

What folks don't realize is that you can still sue a Ca for violations even if they remove the collection from your report and or drop the account.

They never take it off the report when we make it right so why should we take it off the docket when they do?

Good idea....might as well make a few bucks for my trouble.

RMA has a registered agent in my state.

I had a similar situation. I sent RMA the intent to sue giving them 15 days to delete or be sued. They gave in after 10 days. RMA is almost as bad as Arrow. They will break the law, fail to validate, and will not mark the account in dispute. Also, they will report to EQ as if they are the OC. RMA sucks, they are a bunch of lying sleeze buckets. We should see if we can get a Class Action Against them. I have all my documentation.
