I'm 18 and I already have slightly bad credit. I have a post a few down about getting rid of negatives, but I forgot something. WHen I didn't understand credit I applied for everything under the sun and now I have a gazillion inquiries. Is there anything I can do to get rid of them? I know they drop off in (2?) years but is there any way to get rid of them sooner? Or to make it look better? Thanks for any help.

Unfortunately, there's nothing you can do to get rid of inquiries if you authorized the companies to pull your credit. I think that the negative effects on your credit will lessen as the inquiries age.

Kudos to you for learning responsible credit habits before you do any serious damage!

All I did was write a letter to the credit bureau and told them they were "unauthorized" and to remove them. Equifax removed 19 of them and Transunion didn't.
