It said congradulations with my account #...but it didn't give a limit...although it said I could start shopping right away and use my 10% discount? What's my limit? Anyone else have this happen?
LOL it's $100.00 one hundred dollars...but I gotta say I love seeing the "congradulations" after all those years of 7-10 days..."denied"...well I know I have no use for that...the inq was worth the "congradulations"...they told me when I called I have to wait 3 months for an increase...seriously $100 I think I can buy a shirt there...LOL
Congrat's on the approval,100 CL is not a lot, but it sure beats a turn down.I have a Marshal Fields card for over a year and have yet to use it,too expensive for me

I just applied for Macy's card online and got the 10 days message. I think they are going to decline. What a bummer, another inq. I thought Macy's $100 line was easy to get... TU 589. 2 bad marks 1 good mark Out of the two bad, one is paid charge off and another is paid credit account closed by grantor. Which cards should I apply for? I am new to this board, so if you know there are existing relevant threads, please send me the links. Thanks.
Have your tried Target Guest Card...they're $200 initial is pretty easy...I got that last year when my scores were up in the 500's...good luck
soup - As you probably saw in my other post, I got approved for Cap1 $200, so the pressure is off (for now) but I will be applying for Target in 3 months. Do you go to their online application or do it in the store - same difference I guess... GEORGE - I got a $200 Cap1 AND NOW I CAN BUY A SHIRT AND A TIE BOTH - I hope.

I got the denial letter from Macy's. Yes it was a denial. Here are the reasons they put on the letter: 1. Serious delinquency or derogatory information on file 2. Excessive derogatory information or delinquency on file 3. Too many recently delinquent accounts 4. Too much bankcard delinquency This really sounds worse than what it is. I have only two accounts with delinquencies. And both of them are closed and fully paid. Have you ever received a denial letter from Macy's?
Why don´t you apply for Saks. They approved me for 2.5k when I only had one trade line(Cap One). They report to all three Cra´s
