According to my credit report these are the only negative items still left on my equifax credit report.. I need help as to how to attack these..

The first one is sort of odd.. It says the DOLA was 07/1999

However it says date reported was 02/2004... this is the only instance of this on my credit report.. it seems sort of odd that it wouldnt be reported for nearly 5 years..Of course maybe I am reading that wrong..Also the past due amount is greater than the balance..
I have posted this first one here..

Account Number: 19XXXX Rate or Status:
Account Owner: Individual High Credit: $0
Type of Account : N/A Terms or Monthly Payment: $240
    Date Opened: 06/1998 Balance: $2,769
Date Reported: 02/2004 Past Due: $4,551
Date of Last Activity: 07/1999 Months Reviewed: N/A

This second one is a charge-off

Account Number: 3292XXXX Rate or Status: CHARGE-OFF
Account Owner: Individual High Credit: $570
Type of Account : Installment Terms or Monthly Payment: $19
    Date Opened: 04/2001 Balance: $488
Date Reported: 12/2003 Past Due: $241
Date of Last Activity: 10/2001 Months Reviewed: N/A
    Comments:

    Balance Owed: $216
    Balance Date: 12/2003
    Date of Last Activity: 03/2003
    Date Reported: 12/2003
    Status Date: 12/2003
    Status: D-Unpaid

what is the best way to attack these?

They never take it off the report when we make it right so why should we take it off the docket when they do?
