A year ago a 1996 debt to MIC showed up on my Equifax CR of $240, with deletion 11/03. I never heard from them. And I have no clue what that could be. Then today, I got a letter in the mail that they call a "privacy notice." What do you think I should do? Thanks! yesnettv
Does the letter tell you what it is for? I would send them a DV letter. Depending on what state you are in, the SOL on the debt is probably passed. Send DV letter and when you receive green card back dispute with CRA. I had them on my EQ report for a $26 charge. Sent them a DV letter and then never responded. Disputed with EQ after getting green card and the account was removed. Good luck! paw67
