Is the original creditor reporting on your credit report? If they are, you want to look to the Fair Credit Reporting Act. they would be bound by that. A search on google for "FCRA" should provide fruitful, I believe it is also posted at the Federal Trade Commissions' website (FTC). If they are reporting, they must report accuratly.
If your determined to get original statements from the OC, try doing a google search for them. You may be able to find more addresses than just the one on your credit report.
You also may just want to indicate who the OC was right here. Someone may be able to come up with an adress for you. I had a similar problem with an old HSBC card. They were no longer reporting but the CA was and I couldn't get them to correct their listing. I finally (after about 6 letters certified mail) got HSBC to send me the statements. Now I have the proof I need to go after the CA. I gave them so many chances to fix the listing now it's too late. I want it deleted.
From a post by Bizwiz41:
True credit repair is more than just removing negatives from a credit report, or trying for a higher score. This may sound paradoxical, but it is the journey towards becoming that kind of person that the FICO alogorithm tries so hard to calculate.(...) To truly repair your credit (forever), you have to repair something in yourself that was the root cause of the problems.
