I have a judgement in ny.. I have since moved to a different state.. In fact my employer is in one state and my residence will be in a different state..

    1. how hard will it be for the creditor to enforce the judgement....?
    2. will i have to worry about wage garnishment...?

I have an attorney in NYC if you like, she deals with this kind of stuff. If they did a judgement on you, then next step is to go after your money, bank accounts, work ect, you can prevent this by fighting it in court. The attorney DID an affidavit and an order to show cause of why the judgement should be vacated for a friend of mine.

If they did not serve you properly is a good reason to have it vacated. I would jump on it now and not waste time as you do not want it to escalate.

The creditor can sue you cause you lived in nyc at the time, this EXACT same situation happened to a close friend of mine, so this is why I think the atty will be of help, only thing is her fee is over $300 an hour, spendin some money, but at least your legally covered in great hands. She is an atty in nyc and is always around the civil courts , belive me, I know how hard it is to find an atty in nyc that will handle this stuff.

Email me crediwizard808@aol.com and i will send you her contact information.
