Would a 717 FICO qualify for a Nextel cell phone plan WITHOUT a deposit?

Definately. I got mine 1 1/2 years ago with no deposit and two lousy credit cards. My credit was way worse than it is now.

Yeah, you'll be fine. I'm sure mine wasn't a "7" anything and I got it with no deposit in December. Good luck (though I suspect you won't need it). I love my Nextel. If you're in NC, maybe we can "walkie talkie" each other. :-)
