I am helping my sister with some CR issues, and I have a question. She has 2 collection accounts that are very similar. One is called "National Credit Management", and the other is simply "Credit Management." Credit Management is on all 3 CRs and the OC is Charter Communications. Credit Management is only on Experian, and the OC is 'Y'. WTF? she has no idea what this is, so she's disputing it as 'not mine'. Does anyone know if Credit Management and National Credit Management are the same company? Under 'creditor information' on her 3-in-1 there is no 'national credit management' listed. there is a 'credit management' tho. I surely don't want to have her call Credit management and ask them if this is their account, right? thanks.
