I have about 9400 worth of debt that is in collection right now. I know that's not a lot compared to others. But I want to get this taken care of. So here is the thing. Since I went into collections I have moved a couple times and i guess they lost me because I no longer receive notices that I owe money.

Of course I don't have the actual account numbers so I don't have the ability to contact them that way to request information or dispute anything.

Also the big problem I have is I have two collection agencies that do not have a name listed on the account. How is it right that they are damaging without naming who they are.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Your credit report should tell you who they are and the account numbers.

    thats the problem

I was able to find the account number but after that I have no other information listed than that. I am trying to contact Equifax to see if they can tell me who it is.
