I'm quite sure you can get an account set up with a debt consolidation company within an hour or two at the most. That wouldn't be a problem, but that's not the real question. The question you should be thinking about is how much more it is going to cost you to have someone else do for you that which you can do for yourself for free. The second question is how much is it going to cost you when your creditors refuse to go along with it and start filing lawsuits on you? Just remember that debt settlement companies are not attorneys and they will not defend you in court when the creditors get tired of the games and want their money. Don't be misled by the false and misleading claims of debt collection companies.
