ZZZ Company 246 Entered 9/1997 I have never had a judgement, so this is grey area for me. what should I do? Do I dispute? Do we attempt to pay? Please guys direct me in the right direction!! thx the Doc
I had two judgments. Here is how I got rid of them: 1. Remove all old addresses and former names from your file. 2. Dispute. Dispute. Dispute. (as not mine). The reason it works is b/c a judgment only has your name and address as your identifying info (no ssn). Two pieces of identification info must match for them to verify. If the name matches but address does not, it will not be verified and therefore deleted. If the address matches but the name does not, it will not be verified and will be deleted. Hope this helps.
Here are some posts on CHOD. http://consumers.creditnet.com/stra...hp?postid=111125&highlight=c.h.o.d#post111125 http://consumers.creditnet.com/stra...hp?postid=111403&highlight=c.h.o.d#post111403 CSOD is "Creditnet Summer Onslaught of Disputes". (this one takes place in the summer, instead of holidays. The idea is that the CRAs may be short-staffed, lazy, yada yada yada during these times. Maybe the OC, CA, court, etc is too short-handed, lazy, etc to reply to the disputes. THEREFORE, YOUR DISPUTE RESULTS IN A DELETION!!!!!!!!!!!
I think Nave coined the phrase. The last CSOD aka Summer Solstice Dispute started 6/21. I will start another post about this.
