I am working on mine and hubby's credit. So far it has been going ok but many things still need to be fixed. My first round was done online and via phone. Do I start now with letters? And if so, I need some suggestions on what letters to send out. These are the problems I have: 1. I have a charge off that should be IIBK. 2. I have accts with wrong DOLA/DOS. 3. Collection acct that should be IIBK. 4. Past due dates on accts that were IIBK. 5. IIBK with balances. We filed Ch. 13 in 1998 and it was discharged in 2003. Any help or suggestions would be helpful. ALWAYS DISPUTE AS "NOT MINE" FIRST...NEVER PROVIDE BK PAPERWORK OR TELL THE CRAS YOU FILED BK - IT'LL MAKE IT HARDER TO DISPUTE LATER.
How do you dispute a BK if they have the court, etc info? It is due to come off in December this year. And if all the DOS/DOLA had the right date they would be coming off in December as well.
