    Can someone please tell me...
On a credit report with charge-off's and collections, which date am I looking for to see when it will drop off my reports (the 7 year thing)...Is it the date of last activity, or the newer date...Date reported.

In other words, does the clock start over again when it gets assigned to a collection agency ?

    Thanks

    Re: Negative Drops

It's the date of last activity. The CAs are not permitted to re-age the account (sometimes they do it anyway, but it's illegal).
