I received a collection letter from MKM Acquistions for a debt that is over 8 years old. I see they have placed it on my TU and EXP reports. The amount is only $73 and I really don't mind paying it if I had to. I really don't think I need to validate (maybe I do?) since the SOL has expired and the OC listing has fallen off my reports. I think I have them on a few violations. 1. Reaging Accounts (FCRA) 2. Not being licensed in my state. (incidently in Maryland you can search online for collection agency licenses) https://www.dllr.state.md.us/cgi-bi...pplication.cgi?calling_app=Query::PQ_company1 So what kind of letter??? Anyone have any suggestions or should I send a intent to sue for FCRA violations and be done with it? Thanks!
