since i am in the "500 club" which i just recently learned what that is i cannot obtain a credit card from a department store other than target and spiegel..... however i do have 2 capitol one cards one with a 200 limit that is secured with 99 that i got in 01/01 and their "gold" card they sent me in 10/01 with a 300 limit why havent they offered me a increase??? never been late always more than the minium... i just sent the a letter via planetfeedback with this do any good does anyone know???????
heres the deal didnt want to wait so i called and got a lady named marty and she gave me a 300 increase just now when i get a response from planet do i ask for more??
i got a #300 increase from customer service followed by a $1000 increase from planetfeedback in 1 week. Of course you ask for more. I stated exactly how much I wanted in my letter.
From my conversation with Cap One the other day, they will only give you an increase 1x every six months and up until today, I thought they'd only do $300. But my spouse got a increase from them without asking - sent a letter asking for a decrease in interest rate and I don't know what they lowered it to (or if they did - it was at 17.9%), but I logged onto their site and wham! $500 increase without asking. But I was unable to figure out how to see what the new interest rate is. Ozzy.
