It's a fact, only one line of credit is allowed. If you was approved for multiple accounts and have received the access checks, try using it. Maybe they will let you keep the accounts.

But don't call and try to combine or ask them to increase the first LoC by the amount of the second LoC or anything like that.

I ask them to put in a request to increase my first LoC by the limit of the second LoC. Well the put in the request but also closed my second LoC account.

Guess I ask for it LoL.

I bet you they will deny the request. But it doesn't matter, better to be upfront and honest with Amex than risk suffering any consequences later on I guess.

Maybe I get lucky ( like Saar ) and will receive the increase on my first LoC.

Frankly, I see nothing wrong w/ applying for even 5 LOC's. As long as you make a full disclosure and provide only truthful information, and as long as they choose to approve you, there's nothing wrong w/ it.

There's also nothing wrong w/ asking for a LOC increase and using your secondary LOCs as leverage.

Yes, but they pulled a hard INQ.

Not a bad deal for a $7,500 AMEX LOC @ 9.99% (in a few months I'll ask to cut it to 8.99% -- their lowest).
