I am hoping someone knows the answer to this before I possibly screw more up. I asked about this account before but now I have different worries. Basically I have a good standing Citi account . Due to an auto deposit error , my auto payment to them bounced. They shut my account and I talked with them and they reopened it. So, my account is open but is still showing closed on my credit reports. This is my one high balance card , so it's very near my credit limit. Because the account is showing 0 available balance and closed is that possibly a good thing since it is not considering my balance/limit ratio?? Does that make sense? I'm torn between calling Citi to tell them to show open and high limit or waiting untill I actually get the balance below 50%. Any thoughts??

I assume you meant that it is showing 0 available credit?
If so, this is not good as the balance will be included in the total of balances owed, but the credit limit will not be included, thus increasing the % of credit used.

Yes, I meant 0 credit available, whoops. Thanks though, I understand now that it is being calculated and is hurting my score. I wonder if this is why my TU score dropped 70 points earlier and I could see nothing new on my report. I'm calling Citi now.
