    Paid Charge Off

I'm scheduled to make my last payment on a charge-off in two weeks. I didn't negotiate deletion b4 I started paying bc I knew nothing about this board. It is with Cap1 through ASG so I know that it will be reported as a paid charge off. How soon can I start disputing it to get it changed and what are my chances? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I suppose you could dispute as soon as you like but I must say, I think you messed up on this one.

You should've done what's reffered to here as a "delete for settlement" letter.

since you have been paying this debt not only do you have little negotiating power to do this, but now the account has been re-aged so to speak because of your continued payments.

I think other people in this forum could help you more, maybe even citing that I am not completly right. Either way I wanted to at least kill some time here because my wife is being mean to me.

If the CRA's moved any slower............well then, they wouldn't be moving very fast at all now would they?
It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.
Ladies...if us guys say something to you that could be taken two different ways, and one of the ways makes you upset, we meant the other one.

They never take it off the report when we make it right so why should we take it off the docket when they do?
