Peoples Gas is listing their utility bill on credit reports now. According to the representative from the office, this is something new. Have they listed anyone else's account? Did they report positive information (paid as agreed) for anyone? In addition, they are listed on my equifax report in the inquiries as DTC-Utilities. Is this a hard of soft inquiry? I dont remember signing anything that gave them the authority to pull my credit report or list on my report as a creditor. Would a validation help in this instance?
