I will say what PFB is for those "newbies" who don't know about it. I had no idea for the first 2 weeks that I visited this board, but eventuallly found out. Yeah, you can run a search and all that, but I will just tell you.

planetfeedback.com You can send letters online directly to creditors like Citibank, USAA Savings Bank, and many more..

I sent Citibank NA a "goodwill letter" about one week ago requesting a 60 day late deletion. I just got a call from the Office of the President at Citibank telling me that my request has been granted. Get this, the caller gave me her name and phone # and told me that I could call her COLLECT if I have any problems at all. Can you believe that?

    How cool. Thanks CNet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(still waiting for my first unsecured credit card, LOL)

Had similar luck on PFB with two store cards, but no dice with any of the majors (not citi, though).

    Congratulations on your success!

No Stan I can't believe that. Infact I think you are outright lying to us. I don't think that anybody that has been here at C net for over a week would believe this bunk. Why are you doing this? Are you really a bill collector ? And why are you posting
silly answers all over the place? Are you trying to rack up posts ?

nah, It's actually the truth. LOL, sorry that you can't believe it. LMAO, I will be happy to email our new moderator and contact the Citi rep on a 3 way call to confirm. In fact, if YOU want to call the Citi rep with me on a 3 way call, I am game. ARE YOU?

Stan can you share that contact with the rest of the Creditnet community?

    kalinka,

Whatever Stan's deficits are on this board, he is telling the truth here (at least about the Office of the President at Citi). They are quite helpful.

    Hermit,

It might not be such a good idea to post private phone numbers to executives here (let's not forget our recent experience with Greg Fisher and Macy's), lest they become not so nice to people seeking goodwill adjsutments. This should happen via personal e-mail. IMHO...

Thanks marci, LOL, I have never seen so many people be so resentful towards a consumer who is trudging through repairing his credit.

Anyway, nothing will take away from the good feeling of having a derrog deleted, rather made into a positive tradeline as it is a stud loan that I am paying off. :))

Yep, just wanted to say thanks to CN for turning me on to PFB. The rep said that it was a PFB response, and that response came quick. I never would have known about PFB if not for CNet, so I am thankful. I was at a dead end with my previous requests with them, glad to have a positive result. :)

2 more lates and my reports are CLEAN of derrogs..I started 9 months ago with 14 derrogs including 5 collections, a charge off and a defaulted student loan. I am happy for me!!! :)))))))))))))) (even if nobody else is. )

The resentment you feel is pretty much self inflicted. Your sig line says "promoting credit accuracy and nonfrivolous litigation". Doesn't getting an accurately reported late payment conflict with your self espoused philosophy?

Agreed... when they approved me after I pfb'd, I got a letter from the Office of the President. Citi is very good about responding through pfb.
