Happy Friday All!! I am ready to sign up for year service for checking my credit reports. I have checked the Board FAQ's and it is very informative. I have three questions below, if you have time give me your thougths. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Do you belong to more than one service? Do you believe in the 3 in 1 credit services? If you were to choose just 1 which would it be? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I just thought I would ask my fellow creditnet friends before I shell out too much money for the wrong products. I am really curious about the 3 in 1. I think I read something about the data merging on one of the threads. Want to sign up today, if you could me your thoughts that would be great! Have a Great Weekend!
I just cancelled Experian (not worth the $80 a year) and they gave me a hard time! TU is free, but the score is useless. EQUIFAX, by far is my #1 choice. Now they made it even more worth the $60, you can pull more than one time per day, AND you can go back to the first report you pulled and see the difference in reports right online. Plus, their score seems to be right on with what the lenders are pulling.
I use all three Equifax - pay for it Experian - I pay for it, but you CAN get around it via the 30 days free, cancel in 25 days, reorder in a few days... You have to provide a cc number though Transunion - you can get in free I don't like 3 in one, because they don't give you an accurate picture.
Re: Pulling Reports- Who do you pre I am a member of the 45 day club, so I tried to pull a couple of reports today to try to see if I could get rid of some in less then 45 days. It let me go through the motions of pulling a new report 4 times, but on the inquiry section it only lists 2 for today. So I don't think you can actually pull unlimited reports, it's still one "real"one a day. scott
Re: Pulling Reports- Who do you pre It actually 2 legit per day. I pulled one earlier today then one a few hours ago and my score changed 1 point +.
Re: Pulling Reports- Who do you pre I went ahead and signed up for Equifax. Please let me know... are there things that (board members) look for on their reports? Are one of the reasons for pulling up reports to get some inqueries bumped off?? Is that even possible. What are the tricks of the trade?
