Thread: Removal of Lease from CR??WTF???

I disputed with Equifax a 30 day unknown late on my National City Bank Lease. I've had this lease for almost 5 years and it's a good tradeline. I dispute the 30 day now my lease is gone completely????? Should I contact them and have them put it back or just take the removal of the 30 day. No other CRA is reporting the 30 day late so it shows as positive with them. Equifax also brought back two accounts that I disputed over 2 months ago and they list them as "Disputed" Any help here on the lease would be great!!! Thanks!

I disputed AMEX BLUE on EXPERIAN...I WANTED THE N/A CHANGED TO $15,500....
They REMOVED it...it is still gone 9+ months later...

Should I just leave it alone and be thankful the 30 day is gone since the other EX and TU are reporting the lease with no lates??? Or should I contact EQ and tell them to put it back on?

Depends.

Did your score change at all? If your score went down, then I'd definately want it back on. If it went up, then maybe you should just leave it off.

OK, here's the deal on my EX report.

Last Friday, I was at 599. I pull it today and it's 650. I have 2 collections in dispute. They have both been agreed on to be deleted by the OC. But they are showing in dispute.

A few of my CU lates have been deleted. 2 30-days.

Lowe's- 4-30 days and 1-60 day removed. The OC sent them a letter to remove. Now, what burns me is of course my lease gone and back in May, I disputed a lazarus account that had 4-30 day lates and 1-60 day late. They removed it and it showed updated 6/2002 never late/paid as agreed. Now, they lates are back on and it's showing that I am disputing the entries. WTF!!!!! and it shows updated 6/2002. I'm sending them a copy of their own report showing the no lates and the update date!!!! But like I mentioned, 51 points up!!! I think they up'd it the way they did just b/c of my disputes. Am I right? EQ went up 10 points when that Lowes account was deleted by the OC. That happened today as well. Any advice woudl be appreciated!!!! It seems like EQ screwed me but at least they gave me a kiss before they left:)

EQ is doing something similar to hubby (I've posted here) and it's so infurating. He keeps reminding me that every violation improves a future case.

With the score increase, I might just sit back for a bit and see what happens next on that lease. It doesn't seem to have hurt you. As for the reinsertion of the lates, that is typical, isn't it? Ughhh, they suck!

We haven't picked up anybody worth talking about....haven't lost anybody though and that is good for us. Can't wait to play a full year with a healthy Forsberg! I think the Stars are beefing up pretty good, too!

Did you just begin to dispute with them all over again about the re-inserted lates??

Chelios likes it in Detroit. I think he just wanted to see what he was worth. I can't blame the guy.

I'll sit back for a few weeks and see what happens. Just trying to get things in order because I'm looking for a mortgage in two to three months.
