I have had a NY State Tax lien that is paid ($585) and has been dropped off my EQ and EX reports after 5 years but I am not sure how to get it removed from TU. I think they are holding firm but would love some advice of what I can do to get it removed. Thanks.

State tax liens can be tricky. In fact, I'm surprised EQ and EX dropped yours after just 5 years since paid tax liens can remain on your credit reports for up to 7 years. Have you tried disputing some missing or inaccurate information through TU yet? That's usually your best shot to get it deleted since the CRAs will have to verify the paid lien through the courts.
