Requesting For Good Credit to be Reported

After getting a lot of BAD stuff off of my report, my focus is shifted to getting positive stuff reported on all three bureaus.

For example, I've had three different credit cards, paid every month on time. But my Saks card that I had while employed there, for example, only shows on one bureau. Same with a capital one card that had a high balance I made payments on-time monthly until it was paid off.

Has anybody had success contacting original creditors to get positive information reported?

Any successful verbiage or forms you used, etc., would be greatly appreciated!

If they are all old credit cards that have since been closed, I hate to say it but I don't think you will have any luck getting the old payment history reported. Some credit issuers choose to only report to one or two bureaus, or none at all, because it's cost prohibitive for them to report to all 3 major credit bureaus.

A better strategy at this point in time might be trying to build some new positive payment history through something like a secured credit card. Where do your FICO scores currently stand? Could you possibly get approved for a decent unsecured credit card with no annual fee?
