The store card comes from GE Capital. I have one but am not sure of the requirements because I answered a pre-approval. They pulled TU before TU started giving scores so I don't know what my score was when I was approved.

Monogram is a subsidiary or something of GE Cap. When I closed my Wally World card, the confirmation letter came from Monogram Credit of Georgia.

They also issue JCPenney cards, which I just got. They pulled Equifax (I'm in PA) and last time I checked my score was about 670, but I have a bunch of stuff in dispute, so I don't know how that figures into the score they got.

Are there 2 different types of Walmart cards?

WAL*MART/MCCGB STORE CARD...ONLY GOOD AT WAL*MART AND SAMS.

WAL*MART/CHASE MASTERCARD...GOOD EVERYWHERE MASTERCARD IS ACCEPTED.

Go to WAL*MART for a paper application...or the gift registry has an INSTANT application program...
