Back in April, you were inquiring about an Amex Green in a thread and Momof3 gave you some general guidelines.

My question is, did you apply and were you successful? At the time I believe you said your FICO was like 641. Thanks!

Shantel, I did apply and receive the Amex Green card for students. I really do not see any difference between the Green for Students and the regular Green Card.

I had a 641 FICO at the time. I called two days later and was approved. They pulled Equifax.

Amex Rep. stated that aslong as your credit was not bad and you are a student, you should be approved.

Yeah, but they wouldn't give me Blue for Students because I don't attend one of their approved schools. That sucks. Did you apply online?
