    Retail account

I have a retail account that I have had since 1993. I know this has to be valuable as far as my credit mix and account age. It was being reported to all three bureaus, but on close examination, I noticed recently it is no longer reporting to Experian. Maybe this account fell off during an update? My question is how do I get this back on my Equifax report? I called the dept. store and they suggested I call the bureau. I feel it is the dept. store's responsibility to report. Has anyone had this problem before? Will a call to the bureau work or do I have to send them a copy of a statement? I will call experian on monday, but I just thought maybe someone has been through this before. Thanks in advance!!

HAVE YOU USED THE CARD LATELY?

If not, use it for one purchase (even if it's only $20.00) and pay it off.

That my put it back on.

    Re: Retail account

I thought about that too George. Yes, I have used the account lately (several months of payments). Just sent in my last payment which has posted to the account. I thought using the card would trigger the account to be reported again. No such luck.
