    And dimwits for these people is a compliment!!!!

    Would SM be smart enough to tell Experian & TransUnion to update my account status to paid? Heck no! Delete! Delete! And TU's FICO negative reason code is "You have no recent revolving balance information being reported." Well, excuse me for keeping my money where it belongs - in my pocket!

    Would SM be smart enough after several faxes & phone calls and letters since September to delete duplicate information, or at least show a $0 balance? Puh-lease! That's too much effort.

    Yes, my scores went up, but not nearly as much as if my account history had remained on those reports and reflected a paid status.

    </end rant>

    I believe they are suppressing all of their customers information on TU and EXP. I don't know why, but I know there are several people, including myself that have there student loans removed from these reports.

    Well, I wasn't aware of that azur24. I disagree with that stupid policy & have fired off another scathing letter to them with supporting documents, asking them to reinsert the account & mark it paid.
