I had to buy a tractor mower last weekend. Applied for a Sears account in the store to get the 0% financing deal. I was approved for a $6,500 limit (happy about that). I received a letter in the mail stating I had a "Sears Charge Plus"? Anyone know what this is? This is a paper identification card so I have not received the actual card in the mail yet. Just curious. Thanks for any input.

I use to have a Sears Charge Plus - You wont receive a card in the mail. When you want to make purchases just go into the store.

Hey, Kev. Thanks for the info. Should I receive a regular card for small purchases? The Sears Charge Plus states the account is for purchases of $100 or more. I thought when I applied in the store, it was for a regular Sears account. Does this account go along with the regular one? Sorry, I'm just confused. I called customer service, but she confused me even more. LOL
I think I'll call again. Thanks!

This account is for certain types of purchases with a certain dollar figure ($100.00+).

If you are gonna shop Sears regularly then apply for a regular card (www.searscard.com).

This account is a seperate account and is not tied to any other Sears cards.
