One of my Citi cards (online) says:

    Current Balance $684.06
    Current Minimum Payment Due $0.00
    Next Statement Date 09/04/02

    Last Statement Date 07/03/02
    Last Statement Balance $2783.25
Payment Due Date as of Last Statement 07/25/02
    Last Payment Date 07/22/02
    Last Payment Amount $2500.00

It appears that I do not have a payment due or even a statement for August. My question is this...

Should I call Citi and find out why or should I not rock the boat?

I think you should call Dave.

If there's a statement missed there might be a pmt. due. If you miss that, you know what happens.

    Dave-
I would definately call. A couple of weeks ago I went online and it said my available credit was $0 (should have been couple of grand), so I called and found out a merchant had put an "authorization" in for $3K, if they didn't remove it by 7/30, I would have had to pay $550 (or so), but it didn't say that online.

    Call, it can't hurt

    Thanks Butch and Kellie,

I called. It appears they have gotten several calls about this and it confused the reps too. From what I understand, the statement is being printed and I checked my account exactly during the begining of the cycle...so she said check in tomorrow and I will see a correct statement date and balance.

She had no clue why the next statement date was in September...but I'll chock it up to software glitch and check tomorrow...

Also she REALLY wants to upgrade me to the Gold MC...(I believe it is the World Card) I refused and she was puzzled...When I told her about the N/A for credit limit on my report she was astonished. She said she would check into why (even after I told her it was due to the no preset limit) and she said she would call me back. Maybe I will have more information about this for you all later.

Thanks again for the advice. It is so nice to have friends to get advice even at 12:30 AM :))

    Good Lookin Out!!!

I make a note of the closing dates on my accounts. I often find gibberish (or nothing) online on those days.
