Does anyone know the qualifying score. I believe they check Experian and my score with them is 674.

Yes, they pull Experian. I think you have a real chance with that score

    KHM,

Any luck with Collectech/Allied Interstate Finance? I sent my intent to sue about 10 days ago. I did'nt recieve squat from them. I called and spoke to a supposed Supervisor of Collections, Allison something or other. She was playing dumb and then about 5 mins into the conversation she said...oh Mr ####, yes we recieved your letter. "It is our policy not to remove entries on accounts we don't have any paperwork on." WTF!!!!! I asked her if she was for real. I asked if an unverfiable entry on my credit report is worth $4000 in small claims damages. She again repeated her robotic answer. I knew she was'nt a supervisor, because no one with half a brain and in any position of authority would be so cavalier . Well I will be filing next week. These morons will get the point.

I just sent the attorney all of my paperwork. I also wrote him a letter saying that I may a portion of this debt but that doesn't give Collectech the right to ignore my rights under the FDCPA. I also said to move forward with the lawsuit and to make sure to file for damages as well as pain and suffering. (we were gonna buy a house soon and I am not gonna pay a higher rate becasue of them)!!
Good luck and keep me posted!
