I called their customer service to ask for limit increase for my State Farm Bank Platinum Visa. I chose the option to ask for limit increase and they connect me to customer service. She asked me that how she might help me. I told her that I may need limit increase for big purchase. She asked me a few question to identify myself. She told me that right now your application was being processed. After 20 seconds she told me that your credit limit was up to $2000 and your credit limit is now $10,000 effective immediately. I guess my credit history is not that bad after all. Ron.
Great job ron, but don't go overboard just to prove that BankOne was wrong. We know you're a creditworthy guy, if they dont, that's their problem.
Hey Ron, Major Congrats again on your credit line increase with State Farm..... forget Bank One.... wow that is a good size credit line increase.... I only got $800 from them last month auto.... it just showed up I did'nt request for it.... Last year they give me $3000 increase and they only give me $2000 increase up to $10,000 credit limit. Do you mind to tell mw what the credit limit of your State Farm Visa? Yes, I have two BofA Platinum Visa and they told me that I can get limit increase if I do BT. I haven't request limit increase for almost a year. They told me I can get limit increase once a year without pulling hard inquries. Right now, I don't need BankOne and I got good offers from MBNA, and Citibank. Kevin, did you receive a free movie guide from BofA? It said that it is the way to appreciate my business. My brother also has Bof A credit card and he didn't get one. Ron.

Hello Ron, Okay on the State Farm platinum visa I started off with only $2500 and then six months later I call in and request for a increase they pull a hard one on exp and gave me $1000 and then another six months went by and got an auto $800 and just last month another auto $800 so is now up to $5100. so my guess is another six months might auto another $800 the reps are really nice to talk to... no problems with them yet... again Major Congrats on your credit line increase with them! Hello Ron, Yup I request for the upgrade to platinum when I got the $1000 credit line increase... the rep was really nice she said that normally they don't give a platinum card unless is a $5000 credit line but then she said that she likes my credit report and it looks really good so she said okay upgrade to platinum approved....
