    T-mobile Cell phone

I would like to change from Sprint to T-mobile. I am actively in credit repair in lieu of purchasing a home.
    What are T-mobile's credit requirements?
how does the inquiry hurt my credit score?
Should I try a business account with my EIN?

    Please advise

    T-mobile Cell phone

I opened a T-Mobile account in 2002. When I applied it was at a T-Mobile store. Not sure how they checked my credit but I did have a bk-13 on file from 1996. I never noticed any hard inquiry on any of my reports except when I applied for the international roaming a few months after activation, a hard was pulled.

I was approved at the store for regular service and approved for internatioal roaming as well.

    Best regards,
    Mirage

    T-mobile Cell phone

They did not do a hard when I got my first phone. But they did a hard when I added a 2nd phone, and another when I added a 3rd.

    Both on EQ.

    T-mobile Cell phone

I just had 2 phone numbers teleported from Sprint...good riddance. T-mobile gave me 2 phones. I paid 15 bucks for one and got the other for free, rebate on one for $50 and $100 rebate for the other. Took a hit on TU with a 630 score, no deposit. From what I understand TU looks at pure score. What I don't is why I did not get the GEORGE offer--they told me if a deposit is necessary it's based on score, but cannot accept a mere deposit without CC!

My deal was worth the 8-point hit, I guess....

Ok. It's interesting that works on cell phones but not on credit cards. You can technically charge up thousands on your cell phone but start out with a lousy plastic $300 CL. You can terminate service and technically leave them with the debt and you, spotless....

I wonder if there's a max 'minute limits' per month before they cut you, LOL

the salesman wasnt very helpful he said my friends credit wasnt strong enough. if it goes over $150 they suspend service till you pay i guess..150 is a lot of months for one line though
