just applied for the target guest card. Got the "Your application requires further processing" "You will receive a response in the mail within 2 weeks" Anyone ever get this before? Did you get approved or declined?
My husband got that message and he was declined. However, I think others may have been approved the same way. Try a search for "Target." I could be remembering incorrectly. Maybe others will respond with a more positive answer for you!
okay, so it's a mixed message. guess i'll just have to wait. my TU score is 540, so i'm not expecting much if i do get approved. i called target credit customer service and they claimed they pulled all 3 CRA reports when determining approval/denial. anyone know about this?
check that again. I got the same message for the target visa but a link came up to check status later. I got approval about 30 mins later. I had an application # and I clicked "Application Status"
roni.. nope i didn't get that link, i screen printed the "your appl. requires further processing" screen. i just wish if i was declined they'd have the guts to tell me now, not send a form ltr in 2 weeks.

Although, I did not receive a denial for the Visa on-line; instead, I was approved by mail for the Guest Card, $200 CL. This was my third try in a year and a half (they didn't have the VISA card on my last two tries). My scores are between 540 and 593 right now. If you get denied, give it 6-8 months with a positive score increase and then reapply.
I received the same "further processing" message from the online app for the Target Guest card as you did. They approved it for $200 CL.
i don't know whether to feel depressed or happy. guess i'll have to wait to see if target feels im worthy.
